# Fictional Gmail filter diagnostic

No messages in this file were sent. `example.test` is a reserved sample domain.

| ID | From | Subject | Desired label |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| M-01 | updates@example.test | Weekly Workshop | SOW Practice |
| M-02 | updates@example.test | Security notice | none |
| M-03 | another@example.test | Weekly Workshop | none |

Proposed criteria: From = `updates@example.test`; Subject = `Weekly Workshop`. Proposed action: Apply the label `SOW Practice`.

A Gmail search on old messages can check criteria. The reserved `example.test` placeholder cannot send you a real message: replace it with an authorized test sender before a delivery test. Only a newly received authorized message can demonstrate the automatic filter action.
