# Independent answer check — form access

For the fictional practice goal, verify **all** of these independently in the form editor and visitor view:

| Item | Expected state | Why it matters |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Publication | Published | Unpublished forms cannot receive answers through the responder link. |
| Responder access | Anyone with the link | Restricting the responder audience can block a signed-out visitor. |
| Limit to 1 response | Off | Google requires sign-in when this is on. |
| Collect email addresses | Do not collect; not Verified | The practice does not need a confirmed Google Account address. |
| Question types | Multiple choice and optional paragraph only | A File upload question requires sign-in. |
| Signed-out visitor | Can see both questions and submit fictional answers | Owner preview alone is insufficient. |

If a visitor merely sees an optional prompt to sign in to save progress, test whether they can still continue. If an organization blocks public responder access, do not change policy casually; use the approved audience or ask the administrator. This is an expected-state checklist, **not** a claim that this particular form was tested live.
