# One-site notification scope check

Fictional example: `news.example.com`. Substitute the exact website named on your own browser alert.

- [ ] The alert is a Chrome website notification rather than an in-page pop-up or installed-app alert.
- [ ] The website hostname was copied from the alert or site's address bar.
- [ ] Chrome Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Notifications is open.
- [ ] The exact site's Notifications permission is **Block**.
- [ ] The global default was not changed for this one-site exercise.
- [ ] No other website entry was edited.

To reverse later, revisit the selected site's permission. This checklist is a state verification, not a promise that an alert will arrive on demand.
