# One-site camera and microphone checklist

This is a fictional practice worksheet. `meeting.example.com` and `video.example.com` are example hostnames; they are not working meeting services.

1. Write the exact website address from the address bar: `____________________`.
2. Decide which permission is affected: Camera / Microphone / Both.
3. In Chrome, inspect **Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Camera** or **Microphone**. Record the selected site's current state: `____________________`.
4. If you trust and intend to use the site, choose a permission state for **that exact site**. Record the new state: `____________________`.
5. Confirm the intended camera or microphone in Chrome's device selector. Record the device name without exposing it in a public screenshot: `____________________`.
6. Reload the chosen site's own preview and check its status. A settings entry alone does not prove a camera image or audio signal.
7. If the preview still fails, check the website's mute control and your operating system's privacy and device settings. Record what you actually observed: `____________________`.
8. Recheck that your global Chrome default and unrelated sites' entries remained as you intended.

Do not allow a site you do not trust. Do not grant camera or microphone access simply to complete this worksheet. You can inspect the settings without changing them.
