Quick answer. In Google Calendar on a computer, open Settings and find the hidden calendar under Settings for other calendars. Choose Show in calendar list, then ensure its checkbox is on in the left column.

Use the fictional practice file and independent answer check. Work in a copy or a permitted demo account.

Before you start. A hidden calendar still exists. An unchecked calendar may already be in the left list and needs only its display checkbox selected. A deleted event requires the calendar's Trash workflow and cannot be restored by this guide. The exact Settings grouping can vary across accounts.

1. Identify what is actually missing

Check the left My calendars and Other calendars lists before changing anything. If Harbor Workshop Practice is present but unchecked, select its checkbox; that alone can reveal its events. If the calendar name is absent from both lists, use the hidden-calendar route below. Do not create a replacement calendar yet, because a replacement would not contain the original event.

Checkpoint: Name absent from list means a different state than an unchecked name.

2. Find the hidden calendar in Settings

On a computer, open Google Calendar Settings. Scan the calendars listed under Settings for other calendars and locate the exact Harbor Workshop Practice name. Google's current help puts Show in calendar list to the right of a hidden calendar. Match the name carefully so another calendar is not changed.

Checkpoint: Practice target: exact hidden calendar found in Settings.

3. Restore its list entry

Choose Show in calendar list for Harbor Workshop Practice. Return to the calendar grid and find that name in the left list. Select its colored checkbox if needed. This changes display and list visibility; it does not send event invitations, change the event text, or recover an event from Trash.

Checkpoint: Practice target: calendar name back and checked.

4. Check a known event

Go to November 4 in the fictional practice calendar and look for Materials review at 10:00 AM. Open it and confirm the calendar field points to Harbor Workshop Practice. This known event is a stronger check than merely seeing a calendar name reappear in a sidebar.

Checkpoint: Target in the fictional practice: Materials review at 10:00 AM.

5. If the event remains absent

Search the date and the calendar selection again. If the calendar is visible but only one event is missing, consult that calendar's Trash rather than toggling its visibility repeatedly. Google keeps some deleted events in Trash for a limited period; a hidden calendar and a deleted event are different problems.

Checkpoint: Do not create a duplicate event while diagnosing the state.

Verify the result

Expected in a permitted fictional calendar test: Harbor Workshop Practice appears in the left calendar list with its display checkbox selected, and the original Materials review event appears on November 4 at 10:00 AM. The event should not be recreated and no invitation should be sent.

If it still does not work

A hidden calendar still exists. An unchecked calendar may already be in the left list and needs only its display checkbox selected. A deleted event requires the calendar's Trash workflow and cannot be restored by this guide. The exact Settings grouping can vary across accounts.
